Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Landon Graves (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and George Alanis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Graves misses with a wild combination.
Alanis blocks a jab.
Graves connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Alanis lands with a kick to the temple. Graves shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Graves showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Alanis.
Graves works the jab nicely.
A combination from Graves does no damage.

Alanis closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Graves quickly recovers to half guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Graves tries to get to full guard but Alanis has control of the leg.

Graves wants to get back to his feet but Alanis is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Graves is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Graves connects with a nice short shot to Alanis's temple.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Alanis doesn't manage to clinch there - Graves circles away.
Graves moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Alanis uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Graves.

Graves remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

Graves is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Graves feints and as Alanis raises his hands in defense, Graves changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Graves unloads with some shots from mount but Alanis bucks and avoids them well.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Landon Graves will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

A momentary lapse in concentration from Alanis enables Graves to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Alanis manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

and Alanis makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Graves tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Alanis was well out of range. Poor timing from Graves.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

George Alanis comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Graves has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
