Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Joe Jester (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jessup Pike (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Joe Jester could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Jessup Pike's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Joe Jester! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Jessup Pike! The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, James Atkins and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jester looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Jester is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Pike is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Pike has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Jester can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Pike manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Jester tries to get back to half guard but can't. Jester is working hard here to advance position. Jester manages to regain half guard. Good work. Jester is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Pike pulls his head out easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jester tries to roll over but Pike keeps him under control. Jester might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Jester blocking the ground and pound attempt from Pike. Jester wants to improve his position but Pike is controlling well.
Jester actively working from the bottom here. Jester is trying to get back to full guard. Jester looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Jester is breathing heavily.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. The fight moves into the clinch position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Pike manages to pull guard.
Jester thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Pike really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Jester. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Pike keeping full guard, as Jester tries to pass. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Pike looking to hit a scissor sweep but Jester is one step ahead there. Pike has his foot on Jester's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Jester works his way back into a safe position though. Pike looking for a guillotine here but Jester defends easily.
Pike can't keep his opponent in guard - Jester advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jester is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Pike has managed to free his arm - good work. Jester is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Pike wants to improve his position but Jester is controlling well.
Jester looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Pike is looking for a sweep. Jester is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Pike wants to control but Jester is keeping busy and won't allow it. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Jester trying to pass the guard but Pike defending well.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Pike tries to close the distance and clinch but Jester swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Jester fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Jester fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Pike lands with a nice combination. Jester backs away looking to recover.
Jester is rocked! Jessup Pike seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Pike bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Jessup Pike will probably get the nod. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the ring so we can get back down to business.
Horrible takedown by Jester or perhaps it was just good defense by Pike which made him look bad. Pike is looking to land body kicks. Pike feints and as Jester raises his hands in defense, Pike changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Pike must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Jester is looking for a triangle but Pike pushes his legs off easily.
Pike passes easily into side control. Nice work. Jester manages to work his way to half guard, despite Pike's best efforts. Jester makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Jester. Pike keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Jester's head. Jester throwing strikes off his back to little effect.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jester looking for a guillotine here but Pike defends easily.
Pike looking to pass the guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Jester keeping moving, preventing Pike from controlling successfully. Jester is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Pike is in trouble now - Jester has advanced to mount! Jester throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Pike has his hands clasped together but Jester breaks the hold and Pike is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Jester!
