Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
5 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Koljo Junakovic!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Billy Donnely!
The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Patrick Alders and Aafke Stam.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Donnely throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Junakovic's waist but Junakovic gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Donnely off to one side.
Junakovic fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Donnely dives in and grabs Junakovic's left leg, looking for a takedown. Junakovic pushes down on Donnely's head and hops out.
Koljo Junakovic seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Junakovic throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Donnely.
Junakovic scores with a jab to the head.
It looks like Billy Donnely has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Junakovic moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Oooooh!!! Junakovic has knocked Donnely down with a huge combo! Junakovic steps away and waves a wobbly Donnely back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Donnely is rocked!
Donnely shoots in looking for a takedown. Junakovic tries to sprawl out of it but Donnely keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Junakovic manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Donnely is still on wobbly legs! Can Junakovic finish him?
Koljo Junakovic has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Billy Donnely.
Junakovic misses with a two punch combination.
Donnely seems to have recovered his senses.
Junakovic throws a series of punches but Donnely moves out of range.
Junakovic feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Donnely sprawling to the canvas! Donnely rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Junakovic finish him?!
Donnely walks into a straight right, dropping him to the canvas! Junakovic swarms him and finishes the fight with a hail of punches! What a brutal finish!
