Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Steve Stifler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gaius Caesar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gaius Caesar has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Steve Stifler 's chin.

11 - 9 - 0, fighting out of New York, Steve Stifler ! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
11 - 9 - 0, fighting out of New York, Gaius Caesar! The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Jonathan Paton and Franklyn Lucas.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Stifler lands a nice looking body shot.
Stifler scores a takedown into full mount! The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Caesar wants to hold on but Stifler pushes him away. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Caesar is wriggling around trying to escape.
Stifler scoring with strikes but Caesar is staying in there. Stifler landing punches. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Stifler has hold of Caesar's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Caesar manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Stifler tries to control but Caesar wriggling away. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Caesar is desperately trying to improve his position but Stifler has a good base and remains in mount. Stifler scoring with strikes but Caesar is staying in there. Stifler looking to finish Caesar with some ground and pound. This is bad for Caesar! Stifler sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Stifler lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Caesar hang on? Caesar throwing punches from his back but nothing is landing. Stifler breaks from Caesar's wrist control and lands an elbow.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Caesar tries to hold on but Stifler pushes him away. Stifler connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Stifler with good strikes from the mount here! Caesar bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! Stifler has Caesar pulled in close to control his posture. Stifler has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Caesar drops back, looking for a kneebar! Stifler looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Stifler looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Stifler ! Stifler misses with an attempted head punch from side control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Caesar managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Stifler .
Stifler connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Caesar some visible discomfort.
Caesar tries to get back to half guard but can't. Stifler grinds an elbow into Caesar's temple. Caesar parries the strikes from Stifler easily there. Stifler is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Caesar to escape.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Stifler trying to control the position but Caesar is working away. This has been an exciting period of action! Caesar is not in a great position here, taking some shots. Caesar is trying to escape and get back to his feet. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Stifler tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Caesar regains half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Stifler pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Caesar tumbling to the mat - Stifler dives into Caesar's guard.

Stifler trying to control but Caesar is working from the bottom. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Stifler accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Caesar keeping moving, preventing Stifler from controlling successfully.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Stifler stands up over Caesar, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Stifler loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Stifler landing with the ground and pound. Stifler trying to control the position from guard on top but Caesar is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Caesar is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Stifler defends well. Caesar keeping moving, preventing Stifler from controlling successfully.

Stifler gets a clinch. A short left from Stifler . Caesar throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Stifler blocks it with crossed arms. Stifler is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Stifler has Caesar pressed against the cage, preventing Caesar from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Stifler working aggressively here.

Stifler stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body. Stifler lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Caesar backwards. Caesar tries to score a body lock takedown but Stifler shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Stifler lands with a light punch inside. Caesar throws a knee to the head but misses.

That's one minute gone in the round. Stifler lands a body punch. A short uppercut from Stifler . Stifler lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Caesar or not. Stifler keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Caesar's efforts to push away. Caesar is pressed up against the cage. Stifler has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Caesar down to the mat. Caesar avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Steve Stifler . That's going to take a lot out of him. Stifler avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Caesar doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Stifler lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Stifler lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Stifler scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Stifler forces Caesar back against the cage and clinches. An uppercut to the body lands inside from Stifler . Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Stifler presses Caesar against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot. Stifler lands with a short shot to the head. Stifler lands a body punch in the clinch. Steve Stifler is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Stifler throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Caesars head. Caesar prevents a body shot from Stifler . Caesar is trying to push Stifler away but Stifler has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Stifler lands with a short punch from the clinch.

Stifler takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Caesar is looking to improve his position.
Caesar wants to control but Stifler is keeping busy and won't allow it. Gaius Caesar has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Stifler moves into full mount! Caesar won't be happy about that! Caesar is in a horrible position here. Stifler smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

Stifler scoring with strikes but Caesar is staying in there. Caesar taking shots to the head. Caesar in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. Stifler is landing with some decent strikes but Caesar is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

Can Stifler finish him? Stifler cracks Caesar with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
And that's the end of the fight! Steve Stifler showed his dominance in that final round. Well Stifler has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
