The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Andrew Berry and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Benson shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Jobber vX is trying to defend but Benson finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Jobber vX is rocked!
Jobber vX really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Benson tries to stand and escape but Jobber vX is controlling the position.
Oh Jobber vX is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

OK we're going to have a standup here. Johnny Benson hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Jobber vX enables Benson to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Jobber vX manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Benson wants to get up but he can't break Jobber vX's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Benson is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Jobber vX controls Benson momentarily but Benson frees himself.

Jobber vX tries to sprawl but Benson drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Benson wants to stand up but Jobber vX has a hold of him and won't allow it.
Jobber vX is pressing down on Benson's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

Benson gets to his feet - Jobber vX follows without any prompting.
Benson scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Benson decides to stand back up. Benson steps back and let's Jobber vX get back to his feet.
Jobber vX lands with a kick to the temple. Benson shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

Benson feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Benson wants to stand and escape but instead Jobber vX has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
Benson wants to get back to his feet but Jobber vX is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
And that's the end of the fight!
Johnny Benson comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Benson has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
