Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Urijah Klein (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michael Adams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Adams has chosen Indestructible as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Michael Adams has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Urijah Klein!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Michael Adams!
The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Eliza Hachem and Donatello Bradman.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Klein walks into a left hand.
No joy there for Adams, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Adams misses with a wild combination.
Adams digs a good body shot into Klein's ribs.
Klein closes this distance looking for a takedown but Adams circles away.
Klein changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Adams tries to avoid it but Klein manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Adams to the ground. Adams escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Klein throws a combination that misses
and Adams counters with a stiff right hand.

Klein feints and as Adams raises his hands in defense, Klein changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Klein won't allow Adams to sweep him here.
Adams is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Adams throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.

Klein drops back looking for a leg! Adams is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Adams manages to kick Klein off! Klein jumps back into Adams's guard.

Klein is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Klein is breathing heavily.

Klein avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Adams strikes from his own guard.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.
Klein throws a combination that misses
and Adams counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Good leg kick by Adams there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Klein has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Klein with a lazy takedown attempt
and Adams counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Urijah Klein. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Klein fails to land the takedown.
Michael Adams is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Klein shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Klein takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Klein is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Klein drops his hands momentarily. Adams doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Klein staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Klein doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.
