Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Errol Field (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nicky Santoro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Field comes to the ring accompanied by Best of Sakuraba. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Yukihiro Yamamoto.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Field throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
letting Santoro counter with a right hand.
Field misses with a double jab.
Santoro throws a body punch but Field moves out of range.
Field takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Santoro drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Field wants to get back to his feet but Santoro is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Santoro postures up and lands a big shot to Field's brow.
Santoro is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Field utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Field can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Santoro controls the pace.

Santoro rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Field moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Santoro fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Field sprawls well initially but Santoro persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Santoro looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Field with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Field is trying to stand up here but Santoro is controlling him well.

Nicky Santoro comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Santoro has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
