Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Rick Cartside (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kurt Larsson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Rick Cartside has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Rick Cartside seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Rick Cartside! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Kurt Larsson! The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Bruno Hogan and Damien Edna.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Larsson shoots in for a double leg but Cartside sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Cartside shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Larsson's guard. Cartside slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Larsson is looking for a triangle but Cartside pushes his legs off easily.
Cartside avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Larsson keeping full guard, as Cartside tries to pass. Larsson can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Cartside controls the pace. Larsson trying to control the position.

That's one minute gone in the round. Cartside preventing the sweep. Cartside stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Larsson swivels though and keeps the full guard. Cartside is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Larsson is trying to control the position from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Larsson lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Cartside! Cartside is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Cartside is breathing heavily. Larsson throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage. Cartside working to try and regain half guard.
Cartside manages to control the position for a moment. Cartside really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Cartside holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Larsson tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Larsson wants to control the pace but Cartside is squirming around nicely. Larsson misses with a head shot. Cartside keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

Cartside is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
Larsson trying to control but Cartside is having none of it. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Cartside's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Rick Cartside dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Larsson throws a sloppy head kick and Cartside moves out of range easily. Larsson tries for a takedown but Cartside circles away easily and Cartside counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Cartside sitting and controlling from the half guard. Cartside seems to be working for a kimura but Larsson defends the submission attempt. Larsson has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Cartside is working away from the top position though. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cartside is looking to take a break and control but Larsson is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Larsson moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Larsson is looking to sinch up a triangle. Cartside throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Larsson's body to avoid the submission. Larsson has instead reached around Cartside's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Larsson arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:39 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Kurt Larsson!
