Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tyson Read (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marc Schmidt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Schmidt's choice of entrance music: Rammstein - Feuer Frei. Marc Schmidt has the eye of the tiger tonight.

The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck with that takedown attempt from Read.
Read lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Horrible takedown by Read or perhaps it was just good defense by Schmidt which made him look bad.

and Schmidt counters with a solid body kick.
Schmidt tries to close the distance and clinch but Read swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Schmidt changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Read tries to avoid it but Schmidt manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Read to the ground. Read escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
