1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jan Kowalski! The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Tiny Johnson and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kowalski tries to keep at a distance but Roxton has taken the fight into the clinch. Roxton stalling in the clinch.
Roxton lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. Kowalski has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Roxton is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Kowalski tries for a takedown but Roxton manages to get underhooks.
Kowalski manages to pull guard.
Roxton content to stall in guard here. Roxton stands up and waves to Kowalski to follow him. Nice takedown defense from Roxton. No joy for Kowalski on that attempt. Mitch Roxton has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jan Kowalski. Roxton clinches up with Kowalski and pushes him back against the cage. Roxton lands a nice uppercut. Roxton throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Kowalskis head.
It looks like Jan Kowalski has been cut. Kowalski looks gassed! A nice left hand lands by Roxton.

Roxton gets through Kowalski's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Roxton pushes Kowalski against the cage. Roxton is working some dirty boxing. Roxton pushes off with a quick right hook! Kowalski goes down! Kowalski tries to stand but stumbles back to his kness! Roxton moves in to finish and the ref steps in to prevent any more damage!
