The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Maguire jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Sutkin walks away with a smile on his face. Maguire gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Sutkin scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Maguire doesn't seem bothered though.
Oh Maguire is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Maguire shoots for a double leg takedown but Sutkin sprawls well. He's pushed Maguire's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Maguire darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Maguire seems to have got his legs back now.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Maguire working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Maguire is trying to drag Sutkin to the mat but Sutkin just about manages to keep his footing. He used the ropes to his advantage there.

Maguire will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Maguire throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Sutkin escapes and throws Maguire's legs to the side, diving into side control!

Sutkin stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Maguire swivels though and keeps the full guard.
