Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Eric Le Carpentier!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Dizzy Rascal!
The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Steve Montenegro and David Schapiro.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rascal with a lazy takedown attempt
and Le Carpentier counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Dizzy Rascal seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Rascal closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Rascal shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Le Carpentier counters with a nice uppercut.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Rascal has eaten all the pies!
Rascal shoots in looking for a takedown. Le Carpentier tries to sprawl out of it but Rascal keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Le Carpentier manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Eric Le Carpentier has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dizzy Rascal.
Rascal takes one to the chin there.
Rascal takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Le Carpentier scores with a nice strike.
Le Carpentier fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Rascal on the side of the head.
Rascal throws a lazy head kick
and Le Carpentier counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Rascal looks gassed!
Le Carpentier lands with a shot to the body.
Le Carpentier uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Rascal has time to react.
Le Carpentier connects with a body shot that sends Rascal's belly button to the back.
Le Carpentier scores with a leg kick.
Le Carpentier lands a body shot.
Rascal takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Rascal is trying desperately to land a takedown but Le Carpentier is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Rascal.
Le Carpentier connects with a body shot.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Rascal takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Le Carpentier dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Rascal. That did some damage!
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Le Carpentier, as that shot connected.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Le Carpentier fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Le Carpentier getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Le Carpentier lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Rascal takes one to the side of the head.


Rascal is rocked!
Le Carpentier is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
Le Carpentier grits his teeth and throws a big right-left combo! Rascal takes both shots clean on the chin and is out cold! Le Carpentier cracks him once more on his way down, as the crowd goes wild! They enjoyed that one!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:31 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Eric Le Carpentier!
Eric Le Carpentier seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
