Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ulysses Ex (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lala Lala (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Franklyn Lucas and Eddie Farnsworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ex throws a right hand that Lala ducks under and follows up with a left that Lala also avoids with ease.
Lala bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Lala stands up.
Lala shoots for a takedown but Ex saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Ex fails in his attempt to clinch.
Lala decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Lala tries to stand but his arm is trapped.
Ex knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Lala on the ground.
Lala trying to control the pace.
Lala is nestled in close to Ex, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Lala wants to take a breather but Ex is having none of it.
Lala is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Lala is keen to just control but Ex is a slippery customer.
Ex tries to get to full guard but Lala has control of the leg.
Ex is not content to let Lala control the position.
Ex on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Ex tries to get out of the position.

Ex trying to hold on to Lala's head to control him but Lala postures up.
Ex is controlling Lala's trapped leg to prevent Lala from advancing to side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Lala Lala.
Ex lands a slapping body shot.
Ex smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Ex tries to clinch up but Lala circles away and keeps his distance.
Ex wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Ex tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Lala paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Good leg kick by Ex there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Ex gets a clinch.
Ex gets through Lala's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Ex manages to break the clinch.
Lala shoots in looking for a takedown but Ex manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Lala's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Lala looks gassed!
Lala moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Ex tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Lala paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Ex rushes Lala and presses him up against the cage.
Ex breaks from the clinch.
Ex throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Ex plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Ex tries to clinch up but Lala circles away and keeps his distance.
Ulysses Ex seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lala fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Ex avoids it really well and circles away.
Ulysses Ex has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Lala Lala.
A nice combination there by Ex.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Ex fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Lala swats away the attempt to clinch by Ex.
Lala takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Lala tries to score a power double leg takedown but Ex sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Lala somewhat.
Ex has closed the distance and engaged Lala in a clinch.
Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Ex obliges.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Ex lands a good knee to the midsection. Lala won't want to take too many of those.
Ex's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.
Ulysses Ex dominated that round.

Ex cracks a nice hook into Lala's ribs.
Ex goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Ex tries to clinch but Lala is having none of it.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Lala is defended easily by Ex.

and Ex counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Ex.

Lala is breathing heavily.
Ex using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Lala has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Lala goes for a takedown attempt but Ex pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Lala gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Ulysses Ex is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Ex is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Lala swats away the attempt to clinch by Ex.
Lala closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Ex sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.

Ex is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Ex looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
Ex's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Ulysses Ex.
Ex lets loose with a powerful body kick. Lala will feel that in the morning.

Ex goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Nice sprawl there from Ex as Lala shoots in.
Ex throws a sloppy head kick and Lala moves out of range easily.
Ex lands with a kick to the temple. Lala shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Ex tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Ex pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Lala back to the cage. Ex follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

The fight stays on the outside here - Ex looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Ex is looking to wear down Lala with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Ex fails in his attempt to clinch.
Ex closes the distance and clinches.
Lala wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Ex has him pressed against the cage.

Ex takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Ex throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Lala Lala hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Lala chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Ex can pounce on him.
Ex goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

Ex throws a series of punches but Lala avoids them all with ease.
Ex is looking to clinch but Lala is avoiding it.
Ulysses Ex is winning the standup battle so far.
Ex lands with a slapping head kick.

Ex moves in looking to clinch but Lala pushes him off.

No luck with that takedown attempt from Lala.
Ex tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Lala counters with a nice double leg into side control. Ex won't be happy with that.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Lala is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Ex knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Lala wants to lay and pray for a moment but Ex keeps working.
And that's the end of the fight!
I would just about give that final round to Lala Lala.
I think Ex has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
