Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Royce Bosco (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eric Draven (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 6 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Eric Draven!
The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Viktor Lagutenko and Fedor Mirinova.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Draven, right into the meat.
Draven stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Draven wants it to stay on the feet.
Bosco misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Draven.
Bosco tries to close the distance and clinch up but Draven swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Draven rushes Bosco and presses him up against the cage.
Bosco is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.

Bosco lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.

Draven swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Bosco misses with a double jab.

An inside leg kick lands from Draven.

Draven clinches up against the cage.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Draven jumps guard and drags Bosco to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Bosco trying to control but Draven is working from the bottom.
Bosco would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Bosco drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Bosco jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Bosco accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Bosco drops back looking for a leg! Draven is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Draven manages to kick Bosco off! Bosco jumps back into Draven's guard.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Draven can do anything to dispel that myth.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Bosco is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Draven knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Draven feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Bosco's calf.
Bosco tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Draven manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Draven tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Bosco's elbow.

Draven's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Bosco rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Draven moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Draven throws a leg kick which misses Bosco's front leg but catches the back leg as Bosco tries to avoid it.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Bosco shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Draven defends it nicely.
Eric Draven seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bosco will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Draven thuds his shin into the meat of Bosco's side.

Draven leaves Bosco with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Draven slips a jab and a cross from Bosco.
Bosco tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Draven buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Bosco has a takedown stuffed.
Bosco is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.
Draven paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
A nice leg kick lands there from Draven.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Draven tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Bosco just stands there and leans against the cage.

Bosco uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Draven has time to react.
Bosco throws a lazy right hand but Draven sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
A slapping leg kick lands for Draven.
Draven lands with a nice body kick.
