Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Daniel Plude (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michael Hopp (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Dillan Fox and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
An inside leg kick lands from Plude.
Hopp looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Hopp blocks a head kick by Plude.
No joy there for Plude, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
A punch combination from Plude misses.
Plude throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Hopp.
Hopp keeps the fight on the outside.
Plude misses with a jab, cross combination.

Hopp shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hopp looking to control but Plude is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Plude tries to hold on but Hopp postures up.
Hopp scores with a couple of good head shots there.

Plude prevents Hopp from taking his back.

Hopp wants to finish this one by submission but Plude is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Hopp.

Hopp lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Plude hang on?

Hopp can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Plude is looking to escape.

Hopp unloads with some vicious shots from mount and Plude wants out - he looks towards the referee who steps in to save him! Hopp celebrates on the cage and the crowd goes wild!
