Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Colin Shou (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kenny Green (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Shou's entrance music is Clubbed to Death. A fine choice. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Colin Shou! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Kenny Green! The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, William Peck and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Green throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Shou tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Green is in Shou's guard. Green trying to control but Shou is working from the bottom. Green wants to pass the guard but Shou is keeping the position. Green's corner is telling him to maintain position. Shou controls Green momentarily but Green frees himself. Shou keeping moving, preventing Green from controlling successfully.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Kenny Green hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Green works Shou's body with a nice hook. Green chopping away at his opponent's legs.
That's one minute gone in the round. Shou tries to clinch there but Green circles away.
Shou throws a head kick that misses. Green misses with a takedown and Shou counters with a big head kick but Green shrugs it off. Shou moves out of range of the body kick from Green.
Shou is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Green. Green looks to land a combination but Shou avoids it well. Green fails with a takedown attempt. Shou throws a half hearted mid kick. Green misses with a wild combination.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Shou throws a sloppy head kick and Green counters by moving into the clinch. Shou pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Shou throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Green shoots in for a takedown but Shou shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Colin Shou has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kenny Green. Green looks gassed! Green has taken the fight to the clinch.

Green is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Shou can't fight it off and eventually Green manages to take the fight to the floor. Shou looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. Green preventing the sweep.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Shou looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Shou wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Green advances to half guard. Shou controlling the position for now. Green looks to land a strike but Shou avoids it nicely and regains full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Shou trying to control the position here. Shou has an active guard here but Green has managed to pass into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Green misses with a head shot. Shou uses the momentum to regain guard. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Shou wants to sweep here but Green controlling him for the moment. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Kenny Green dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Green shoots in looking for a takedown. Shou tries to sprawl out of it but Green keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Shou manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Nice takedown defense from Green. No joy for Shou on that attempt. Green fails with a takedown attempt. Green closes the distance and clinches. Shou pulls guard effortlessly. Green trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Green avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Shou looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Green passes into side control.
Shou is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Green's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Shou is positioning himself well to prevent Green advancing to mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Green escapes and gets back to his feet. Shou looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Green instigates a clinch. Green throws a punch but it's blocked by Shou. Green has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Shou regains guard immediately. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Green stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Shou swivels though and keeps the full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Shou controlling the position. Shou has momentary wrist control but Green slips an elbow through the middle. Shou has his foot on Green's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Green works his way back into a safe position though. Green really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Shou. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Green wants to control from the top but Shou keeps moving. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Shou is on top in guard.

Shou pushes down on Green's leg and manages to get into half guard. Green is holding on to half guard well. Shou trying to control the action but Green is working from the bottom. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Shou looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Colin Shou will probably get the nod. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

Shou throws a head kick that misses and Green cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. A chopping leg kick lands by Shou. Green shoots in and drives through. Shou sprawls well. Green misses with a jab, cross combination.

and Green counters with a one-two to the body. Green takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Shou shoots for a double leg takedown but Green sprawls well. He's pushed Shou's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Green.
That's one minute gone in the round. Shou moves into the clinch successfully.
Shou's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. The fight moves into the clinch position. Shou prevents a takedown attempt there.
Colin Shou has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kenny Green. Green jumps guard and drags Shou to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Shou passes into half guard. Shou wants to lay and pray for a moment but Green keeps working.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Shou decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up. Shou closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. You can see the frustration on Green's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Shou wants to control but Green is keeping him busy. Shou controls the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Shou has an Americana. Green didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Shou is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Shou hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:19 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Colin Shou! After winning the bout, Colin Shou thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
