Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jesus Sakes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vince Dixon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sakes comes to the cage accompanied by Rock Me Sexy Jesus -Jesus Himself. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
13 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jesus Sakes! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Vince Dixon! The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Stewart Dunkirk and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dixon throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Sakes bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Sakes is trying to get an arm triangle but Dixon is defending well. Dixon tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Sakes wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Sakes wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Dixon, who protects the arm well. Sakes is trying to land an Americana. That's one minute gone in the round. Dixon gets back to half guard. Dixon wants to improve his position but Sakes is controlling well.
Dixon has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Sakes is working away from the top position though. Sakes stands up from half guard. Sakes closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Dixon to the mat! Dixon manages to get full guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Dixon pulls Sakes in close to his closed guard and prevents Sakes from doing any damage or advancing position. Sakes drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Dixon manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Sakes has Dixon in his guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Sakes tries to land a sweep but no joy. Sakes has his foot on Dixon's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Dixon works his way back into a safe position though. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Dixon trying to control but Sakes is working from the bottom. Sakes looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Sakes working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Dixon. Dixon working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Sakes's head. Sakes is looking for a triangle but Dixon pushes his legs off easily.
Sakes manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Dixon manages to get himself to full guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Dixon bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Sakes's guard. Dixon trying to control the position from guard on top but Sakes is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Dixon looking to pass the guard. Sakes looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Sakes is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Dixon is aware though and is defending well. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Sakes working for a triangle but Dixon defends it easily.

Dixon is looking to clinch. Sakes lands a nice leg kick that just misses Dixon's sensitive parts. Sakes rushes Dixon and presses him up against the cage. Sakes avoiding damage as Dixon throws knees to the body.

Dixon misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Sakes.
Sakes lands a shot to the body. Dixon drops down looking for an ankle pick but Sakes pulls his leg out and moves away.

That's one minute gone in the round. A short right hand to the side of the head by Sakes. Sakes has Dixon pressed against the cage.

Dixon pushes off an throws an elbow but Sakes leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage. Sakes lands a shot to the body. Dixon utilising his Muay Thai to score with a knee to the body. Dixon is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Sakes pulls him back up using the underhooks. Sakes looking to slow down the pace here. It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Sakes here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man. Sakes lands a left hand that snaps the head of Dixon backwards. A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors. Dixon is trying to trip Sakes. He has hold of a leg but Sakes is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Dixon persists though and gets the takedown into guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Sakes throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.

Sakes stands and throws Dixon's legs to the side, diving into side control. Dixon tries to get back to half guard but can't. Sakes looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Sakes cracks Dixon with an elbow. That is naaassty.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dixon is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Sakes off and has taken his back! Dixon gets his hooks in and is throwing strikes. Dixon looking for the choke from the back. Dixon has his opponent's back and is working for the choke. Dixon doesn't have the hooks in and Sakes manages to turn into his guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Sakes tries to free his leg and advance position but Dixon is retaining full guard. Dixon manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Sakes manages to get himself to full guard.
Sakes is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Dixon rolls with it to try and escape but Sakes cranks on the arm and Dixon is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
