Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 7 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Igor Vladimar!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, John Stevens!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Wagner Zegers and Patrick Alders.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Vladimar closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Vladimar will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Stevens can't do much from the bottom here.
Vladimar lands some shots froms side control.
Stevens is trying to get back to his feet.
Vladimar lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Stevens down.
Stevens takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Vladimar trying to control but Stevens is having none of it.
Vladimar breaks from Stevens's wrist control and lands an elbow.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Vladimar cracks Stevens with a big head shot that has him covering up instantly! He's rolled onto his side and the referee has seen enough - this one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!
