Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Rolando Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and William Peers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). William Peers is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Rolando Silva! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, William Peers! The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Dillan Fox and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice sprawl there from Silva as Peers shoots in. Peers throws a quick inside leg kick. Peers throws a head kick but Silva moves out of range.
Peers scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Silva blocks a head kick by Peers.
Silva gets a clinch. Come on Silva - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Peers wants to break free but Silva has control.
Silva has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Peers avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. It looks like Rolando Silva has been cut. Silva shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh Silva is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Silva seems to be working for a kimura but Peers defends the submission attempt. Silva seems to have got his legs back now. Silva prevents Peers from standing back up.
Peers really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Silva. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Peers looks gassed!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Peers is trying to get back to full guard. Silva slows the pace down in half guard. Silva's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Silva trying to mount his opponent but Peers defends it. Silva wants to work for an arm triangle but Peers is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Silva not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Peers is looking to control Silva's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Peers avoid being mounted?
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Peers is looking to land body kicks. Silva with a poor takedown and Peers counters with a solid body kick. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rolando Silva. That's going to take a lot out of him. Peers misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Silva wants to clinch. Silva shoots for a takedown but Peers saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Peers connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Peers throws a nice inside leg kick. Peers tries to keep at a distance but Silva has taken the fight into the clinch. Peers is trying to break free. Peers breaks the clinch.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Silva blocks a head kick by Peers.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
William Peers dominated that round. The cut man is working on Rolando Silva's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Silva fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Peers misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Silva wants to clinch but Peers slips to the side and Peers counters with a stiff right hand. Silva takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards. Rolando Silva is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. A head kick by Peers - that's a beauty! Silva is out but he's somehow still standing... he's going... going... gone. Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even Peers can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:22 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). William Peers!
