Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Quala Bear (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paul Gaulterie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Paul Gaulterie is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Quala Bear! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Paul Gaulterie! The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Winston Howard and Steve Erwin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bear checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. Gaulterie stuns Bear with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Gaulterie misses with an attempted mid kick.
Bear connects with a body shot. Gaulterie closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Bear's guard. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Gaulterie wanted to stand there but Bear had control of the position. Gaulterie wants to control from the top but Bear keeps moving. Gaulterie controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Bear working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Gaulterie. Gaulterie throws a big right hand that misses.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gaulterie throwing strikes but missing. Bear wants to improve his position but instead Gaulterie has moved into half guard.
Bear is looking to control Gaulterie's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Bear avoid being mounted? Gaulterie thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Gaulterie not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Gaulterie has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Bear wants to control but Gaulterie is keeping busy and won't allow it. Still in half guard, Gaulterie seems content to control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gaulterie not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Gaulterie trying to control from half guard but Bear is working away. Bear wants to improve his position but Gaulterie is controlling well.
Gaulterie wants to pass the guard but Bear is defending well. Bear is trying to maintain the position but Gaulterie is very close to passing his half guard.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Quala Bear. Gaulterie swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gaulterie tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Bear feints a jab promting Gaulterie to slip. Bear then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Gaulterie slips again and ducks right into an uppercut. Bear digs a good body shot into Gaulterie's ribs. A left and a right from Bear both land. Nice combination. Quala Bear is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Gaulterie looks gassed! Gaulterie takes a body punch but keeps moving. Bear cracks Gaulterie with an open hand slap. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Gaulterie takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Bear throws a right and a left that both miss. Bear catches Gaulterie with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Bear lands a slapping body shot.
Bear tests Gaulterie's chin there with a solid looking shot. Bear scores with a three punch combo!
Bear stuns Gaulterie with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Gaulterie takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Bear is looking to wear down Gaulterie with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. Bear tests Gaulterie's chin there with a solid looking shot. Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bear with a body punch. A glancing blow. Bear throws a right hand that Gaulterie ducks under and follows up with a left that Gaulterie also avoids with ease. Bear lands a jab-cross combination. Gaulterie gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Bear works the jab nicely. A jab from Gaulterie misses. Gaulterie closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Bear scores with a jab. Gaulterie acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Bear works the jab nicely. Bear throws a front kick aimed at Gaulterie's knee but Gaulterie avoids it well. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Good standup being displayed there by Bear as he connects with a hook. Bear connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. This fight brought to you by 5M nutrition - it's mmmmm tasty. Nice jab by Bear. Bear tries to work over Gaulterie's front leg with a kick but Gaulterie checks it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Quala Bear dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Gaulterie ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Bear moves away. Bear scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Bear lands with a right hand. Bear tests Gaulterie's chin there with a solid looking shot. No luck for Gaulterie with that takedown attempt. Gaulterie needs to keep his hands up - Bear had a free shot at his head there. Bear misses with a two punch combination.
Gaulterie tries to move into range but Bear moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Gaulterie takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Gaulterie is rocked! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Bear is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Gaulterie is still on wobbly legs! Can Bear finish him? Bear connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Bear sizes up Gaulterie with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Gaulterie is breathing heavily. Bear throws an overhand right that drops Gaulterie like a sack of potatoes! Bear dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:54 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Quala Bear!
