Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between James Tyson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Burl Ives (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tyson's entrance music is Young, Wild and Free. A fine choice. Burl Ives is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, James Tyson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Burl Ives! The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Viktor Lagutenko and Ivan Kurochkin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tyson clinches with his opponent.
Tyson presses Ives against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot. Ives prevents the takedown attempt.
Tyson swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Tyson tries a knee to the head but Ives blocks it.
Tyson manages to break the clinch.
Tyson moves into the clinch. Tyson pulls guard. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Tyson is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Tyson throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Tyson looking for a guillotine here but Ives defends easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tyson had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Ives defends it easily. Tyson is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Tyson is figuring out what he wants to do next. Tyson decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Tyson shoots in looking for a takedown but Ives manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Tyson's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Burl Ives is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Tyson on the wrong end of a nice jab. A decent looking cross lands there for Ives. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Ives connects with a stiff jab that staggers Tyson - oh and he follows up with a huge uppercut that knocks him out cold! Man, that was brutal!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Burl Ives!
