Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Miguel Sanchez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kanye Yamamoto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Yamamoto is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: No Way Out by ZZ. Kanye Yamamoto will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Miguel Sanchez!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Kanye Yamamoto!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Gregory Folan and William Peck.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Sanchez scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.

Yamamoto wants to control but Sanchez postures up.
Sanchez cracks Yamamoto with an elbow. That is naaassty.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Sanchez tries to advance position but instead Yamamoto slips a leg back in to half guard.
Sanchez wants to lay and pray for a moment but Yamamoto keeps working.

Sanchez is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Sanchez has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Sanchez moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Yamamoto has worked his arm free - good work by Yamamoto!

Sanchez decides to stand back up. Sanchez steps back and let's Yamamoto get back to his feet.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Sanchez has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Yamamoto can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Yamamoto must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Well Yamamoto has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
