Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Anthony Burgess (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jose Luis Cantero (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cantero has chosen La mandanga as his entrance music. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
14 - 7 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Anthony Burgess! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
17 - 17 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Jose Luis Cantero! The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Ren Mimura and Yuuki Gou.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Burgess lands with a straight right. Cantero didn't see that one coming. Cantero takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Cantero on the wrong end of a nice hook. Cantero misses the shot to the body. Cantero ducks under a wild hook from Burgess. Cantero fails with the takedown. Good work by Cantero as he checks the leg kick. Cantero pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Nice sprawl there from Burgess as Cantero shoots in. Donk. Burgess catches Cantero right on the button with a cross. Cantero swings and misses with a hook to the body.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Cantero comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Burgess lands a jab. A looping hook to the body misses from Burgess. Cantero does a little dance to reset his feet. Burgess misses with a low kick.

I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
