Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Heinz Volker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lucas Black (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Black has chosen AC/DC - Back in Black as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Lucas Black is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Summer Carpenter and Steve Erwin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sloppy strikes from Volker. Those never looked like landing.
Black walks into a jab.
Volker takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Black throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Volker moves out of range of the body kick.
Black tries a head kick but it misses.
Black looks to throw the jab but Volker is out of range.
Good exchange - Volker coming out on top.
Black bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Black swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Volker scoring well with a low kick there.
Black ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Volker moves away.
Volker stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Volker throws a leg kick which misses Black's front leg but catches the back leg as Black tries to avoid it.

Black dodges the punch combination from Volker.
Volker throws an overhand right that lands on Black's shoulder, as Black tries to avoid the shot.
Black throws a combination that misses
and Volker counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Black looks to land a combination but Volker avoids it well.
Volker tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Black throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Volker stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Black moves into range and connects with a jab.

Volker stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Black.
Volker scores with a nice right hand.
Volker misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Black.
Volker throws out a loose jab but Black uses good head movement to avoid it.

Volker jabs Black right on the nose. Black blinks but takes it well.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Volker swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Volker is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Black just misses with a punch to the body.
Volker takes a swing at Black's ribcage but misses.
Volker moves away from the strike by Black.
Volker looks to score with a jab to the body but Black is just out of range.
Volker moves out of range of the strikes.
Black takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Volker is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.

Volker lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Both fighters circling a little - Volker finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Volker swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Volker paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Volker lands a left and a right that send Black crashing to the mat, dazed. Volker thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Black is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Volker drops Black with a big left hand! Black is injured, injured bad! Volker jumps in and finished him with strikes! The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:29 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Heinz Volker!
In his post fight interview, Heinz Volker started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
