The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sahin throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Alson fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Sahin avoids it really well and circles away.

The referee warns Sahin that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

A determined Paul Alson didn't want to dwell on this fight in his post fight interview. Instead he was more keen to state he wants a title shot. Let's see if he gets it!
