Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
15 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Tirawit Kokin! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
12 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, MSgt. Ernest G. Bilko! The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Andrew Berry and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bilko connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Kokin thuds his right hand into Bilko's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Bilko throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Bilko misses with a low kick. Bilko uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Kokin has time to react. Bilko throws a right hand that Kokin ducks under and follows up with a left that Kokin also avoids with ease. Kokin lands a nice hook to Bilko's body. Bilko takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Kokin looks to score with a jab to the body but Bilko is just out of range. An inside leg kick lands from Kokin. Bilko takes a head kick and keeps coming.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. A slapping leg kick lands for Kokin.
Bilko throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Kokin's waist but Kokin gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Bilko off to one side. A slow jab from Kokin misses its intended target. Bilko fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Kokin lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. A telegraphed right hand from Kokin misses the target. Bilko fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Tirawit Kokin has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of MSgt. Ernest G. Bilko. Kokin fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Bilko, pushing him back against the cage.

Bilko prevents a body shot from Kokin. Bilko tries to break free but Kokin pushes him back against the cage. Kokin lands with a light punch inside. Kokin keeps control of Bilko as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Kokin struggles to land a body shot inside as Bilko controls his hands.

Bilko is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Kokin is keeping busy. Bilko blocks an uppercut.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kokin throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges. Bilko can't break the clinch.
Kokin swings wildly with an uppercut but Bilko uses good head movement to avoid it. Still in the clinch, Kokin scores with a nice short uppercut. Bilko is looking to break free of the clinch but Kokin has double underhooks. Kokin working some nice short punches in the clinch. Kokin lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Bilko backwards. Bilko can't break the clinch.
Kokin has Bilko pressed against the cage, preventing Bilko from circling away and getting back to striking at range. A left hand lands to the body for Kokin.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Bilko is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Kokin to keep the fight standing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kokin lands with a short head shot on the inside. Bilko wants to break the clinch but can't.
Bilko stalling in the clinch but Kokin improves position. Bilko tries to work over Kokin's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Kokin misses with a short punch on the inside. Kokin goes for a body shot but it's blocked.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Kokin scores with a hook to the body. Bilko tries to break the clinch but Kokin is controlling the position. Kokin has Bilko pressed against the cage, preventing Bilko from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Bilko manages to break the clinch.
Bilko throws a front kick that sends Kokin stumbling back into the cage. Kokin doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Bilko wants to slow Kokin down by chopping away at his legs. Kokin walks forward, straight into a front kick from Bilko. Tirawit Kokin is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Kokin fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Bilko. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Good exchange - Kokin coming out on top. Bilko moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Kokin scores with a nice head shot. Kokin steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Bilko. Kokin looks to land a left hand but Bilko moved out of range nicely. Bilko avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tirawit Kokin dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Bilko finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Kokin tries to clinch but Bilko is having none of it. Kokin takes a swing at Bilko's ribcage but misses. Bilko throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Kokin is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. A jab lands there for Kokin. Kokin looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Bilko missing with a left hand there. Kokin was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Bilko misses with an attempted mid kick.
Kokin lands with a shot to the body. MSgt. Ernest G. Bilko seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A swing and a miss from Bilko. Bilko checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. Bilko looks to land a combination but Kokin avoids it well. Nice cross by Bilko. Bilko throws a chopping leg kick but Kokin manages to avoid taking any serious damage. Kokin lands with an overhand left. Tirawit Kokin is winning the standup battle so far. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Bilko shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Bilko showed some decent athleticism there. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Kokin trying to hold on to Bilko's head to control him but Bilko postures up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bilko wants to pass the guard but Kokin is defending well. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Bilko lands a nice short elbow. Bilko controlling the action here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kokin keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Bilko seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Kokin does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by MSgt. Ernest G. Bilko. Bilko shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Kokin but Kokin pushes him off and we're back to square one. Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Bilko lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Kokin has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Kokin and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Kokin tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target. Bilko scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bilko not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Bilko looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Kokin avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Bilko. Kokin is trying to get back to full guard. Kokin on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Kokin tries to get out of the position. Bilko throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bilko trying to control the action but Kokin is working from the bottom. Kokin is trying to control but can't.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
OK we're going to have a standup here. MSgt. Ernest G. Bilko hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Kokin gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Bilko to score an easy takedown into full guard. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Kokin is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
MSgt. Ernest G. Bilko showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Bilko shoots for a double leg takedown but Kokin sprawls well. He's pushed Bilko's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Kokin lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Bilko thows a body shot but no joy. A head kick misses from Bilko. Kokin throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Bilko swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Bilko misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Bilko throws a lazy uppercut
and Kokin counters with a series of strikes. Bilko will be more careful next time no doubt. Bilko drives through with a takedown into guard. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Kokin controlling the position. Kokin is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Kokin with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Bilko wants to get back to full guard.
We're going to have a standup here because Tirawit Kokin wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Kokin uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Bilko.
Bilko drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Bilko lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? Kokin throws a head kick that misses. Bilko throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Kokin tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Bilko is in Kokin's guard. Bilko stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Kokin swivels though and keeps the full guard. Kokin looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Bilko tries to free his leg and advance position but Kokin is retaining full guard. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Kokin manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Bilko manages to get himself to full guard.
MSgt. Ernest G. Bilko has got the better of the ground game so far.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bilko looking for a sweep. Not yet Bilko, not yet.
MSgt. Ernest G. Bilko has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Bilko looks to land a body kick but Kokin moved away. Kokin walks into a left hand. Kokin feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Bilkos jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Bilko ducks right into an uppercut from Kokin. A swing and a miss from Bilko. Kokin tries a head kick but it misses.
Bilko throws a sloppy head kick and Bilko takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Bilko stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Kokin. Kokin avoids the head kick by Bilko.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A head kick misses from Bilko. Kokin swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Bilko moves out of range of the leg kick from Kokin. Bilko scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Kokin throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Bilko throws a body kick, spinning off balance and Kokin counters with a nice low kick that buckles Bilko's knee momentarily. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Bilko throws a leg kick and Kokin counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Bilko is rocked! Bilko fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Bilko is still on wobbly legs! Can Kokin finish him? Bilko takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Kokin cracks Bilko on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Bilko falls backwards against the cage. Kokin follows up with more strikes that drop Bilko to his knees. Kokin keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Bilko! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:36 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Tirawit Kokin! A very excited looking Tirawit Kokin made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
