The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Senerchia tries to finish him with strikes but Joshua still seems able to defend himself so Senerchia steps back and lets Joshua get back to his feet - he wants no part of the ground game.

The fighters are battling for dominant position up against the cage here. Senerchia manages to get control of his opponent's head and throws a big knee - Joshua drops to the canvas! He's done! Senerchia goes wild and celebrates with his corner - this is a big victory for him and to get the win in such devastating fashion will certainly boost his reputation amongst the fans!

After the fight, Peter Senerchia was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
