Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Skyler Nelson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Winjkin William!
The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Roosa Järviläinen and Anni Minnemäki.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
William throws a leg kick but Nelson checks it.

Nelson closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
William can't find room to land a body shot as Nelson controls the action.
William goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Nelson is looking for a takedown up against the cage. William gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Nelson fails to pull the fight into his guard.
A right handed body shot lands from William.
William is working Nelson over against the cage.
Nelson really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
William blocks a couple of punches on the inside.

William tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Nelson's elbow.

William throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.

Nelson throws the kick towards the body but William avoids it.

William moves into the clinch.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
William is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
William lands a left hand that snaps the head of Nelson backwards.
Nelson is trying to maintain a safe position but William gets an underhook and turns Nelson into the cage.
Nelson jumps guard but William turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Nelson has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Nelson misses with a hook from the clinch.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Winjkin William dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

A frustrated look appears on Nelson's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Nelson jumps guard but William turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Nelson goes for a takedown in the clinch but William prevents it.

Winjkin William seems to be working more effectively in the clinch in the fight so far.

An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Nelson.
William misses with an elbow over the top.
William blocks the elbow strike.

William receives a warning from the referee for stalling.

William tries to free his leg and advance position but Nelson is retaining full guard.

Nelson can't keep his opponent in guard - William advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
William frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

It looks like Skyler Nelson has been cut.

Nelson is trying desperately to improve position.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

William is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Nelson can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Nelson is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
William lands a big shot there that rocks Nelson but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Winjkin William showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Both fighters are breathing heavily.
William is pressed up against the cage. Nelson has hold of a leg and is looking to drag William down to the mat. William avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
