Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between John Paul (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Raviel Mutoh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Raviel Mutoh is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, John Paul! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Raviel Mutoh! The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Paul gets caught flat footed, as Mutoh shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Paul has momentary wrist control but Mutoh slips an elbow through the middle. Mutoh throws a big elbow that misses. Paul throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
Paul on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Paul tries to get out of the position. Mutoh lands a couple of digs. Paul wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Mutoh manages to pass to side control. Mutoh working Paul over with strikes. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Paul is striking from the bottom but he's now found himself mounted! Oh dear - not enough focus on defense there.
Paul really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Mutoh controlling the position easily from mount. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mutoh lands a big shot there that rocks Paul but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Mutoh cracks Paul with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
It looks like John Paul has been cut. Paul is trying desperately to improve position. Mutoh with good strikes from the mount here! Paul wants to hold on but Mutoh pushes him away. Paul in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head.
Paul is rocked! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Mutoh postures up and lands a whopping elbow - oh that's hurt Paul bigstyle! Two more strikes land for Mutoh and the fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Raviel Mutoh!
