Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Lemmy Montesa!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Steven Brown and Donald Grub.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice takedown defense from Mox. No joy for Montesa on that attempt.

Mox shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Mox was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Montesa wants to control but Mox is having none of it.
Montesa is trying to stand but he's just given Mox his back.
Mox connects with a series of strikes and the referee is calling for Montesa to escape the position.
Mox has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Mox is landing with strikes. Montesa can't take much more of this.
So, who will make the next big move? In this position it could be crucial.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Mox shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Montesa napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Montesa tries to buck Mox off but Mox is having none of it.

Mox is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Montesa has managed to escape the submission attempt.

Mr Mox overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Montesa is trying to get back to his feet but Mox has full control of the position and if anything, Montesa has just worked his way into a worse spot.

Mox is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!


Montesa displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Mox.
Mox misses with a takedown attempt - Montesa sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mr Mox. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Mox takes a shot to the body in his stride.

Montesa shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Mox defends it nicely.

Montesa feints and then cracks Mox's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Mox down.

Mr Mox is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Montesa will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Montesa takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

and Mox counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Mox.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Mox with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Mox keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Montesa's head.
Mox looking to control the position here, rather than advance.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Montesa really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Mox. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Mr Mox.

Mox shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Montesa as he avoids it easily.

Mox lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Mox looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Montesa with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Montesa pushes Mox off looking to stand but Mox dives back in and keeps control.
Mox works his way into full mount!
Mox scoring with strikes but Montesa is staying in there.
Lemmy Montesa has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Mr Mox is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Mox, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
