Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Akbar Muhammed (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ray Charles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Charles is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Sweet Child O' Mine. Ray Charles will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
5 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Akbar Muhammed!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Ray Charles!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, James Atkins and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Charles doesn't manage to clinch there - Muhammed circles away.
Muhammed showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Charles.
Muhammed could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Charles misses with the combination.
A head kick misses from Muhammed.
Muhammed tries a head kick but it misses.
Charles lands a head kick. Muhammed smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
It looks like Akbar Muhammed has been cut.
Muhammed misses with a body shot.
Charles throws a series of strikes that have Muhammed backpedaling.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
A thudding body kick lands there by Charles!
Charles rushes Muhammed and presses him up against the cage.
Charles breaks the clinch.
Muhammed pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Muhammed closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Charles quickly recovers to half guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Charles is refusing to be controlled, as Muhammed sits in half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Muhammed connects with a nice short shot to Charles's temple.
Muhammed decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.
A jab from Muhammed misses.
Charles tries to clinch there but Muhammed circles away.
Charles keeps the fight on the outside.
Muhammed misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Muhammed tries a head kick but it misses.
Ray Charles is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Muhammed drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Charles wants to get back to his feet.
Muhammed slows the pace down.
Charles wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!
Charles tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Muhammed missing with strikes.
Muhammed has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for Charles! Can he survive? No! He's out! Muhammed gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.
