With a record of 13 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Takeshi Yuudai!
The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Bruno Hogan and Damien Edna.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yuudai defending well as Sox loads up on a big left hand.
Yuudai scores with a shot to the body.
A swing and a miss from Sox.
Yuudai moves out of range as Sox strikes.

Yuudai closes the distance and clinches.
Yuudai slows down the pace here.
Yuudai misses with a body punch.
Sox lands a left hand that snaps the head of Yuudai backwards.

Yuudai has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Sox regains guard immediately.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Sox looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Yuudai forces his way into half guard.
Yuudai has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Yuudai breaks from Sox's wrist control and lands an elbow.

Sox knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Yuudai on the ground.

Yuudai is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Sox is surviving well by controlling Yuudai's body position as best he can.
Yuudai trying to control but Sox is having none of it.
Sox wants to hold on but Yuudai pushes him away.
Yuudai lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Yuudai is working for a guillotine from mount but Sox frees his head quite easily.
Sox is in all sorts of trouble here.
Yuudai trying to control but he's not successful this time.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Sox is trying to escape the mount.
Sox is working hard here to advance position.

Yuudai looking to secure an arm triangle but Sox defends it well.
Yuudai tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Yuudai tries to control but Sox wriggling away.

Sox has given up his back - I don’t know if this is a deliberate ploy to try and escape or if he is just struggling down there.

Sox is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.
Sox is in bad spot here.

Yuudai is working hard for the rear naked choke here.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Sox really must keep his cool here. He's controlling one of Yuudai's hands and whilst he does that, he's got a chance of escaping the position.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Takeshi Yuudai dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Sox throws a hook but Yuudai blocks it.
Sox looks to score with a jab to the body but Yuudai is just out of range.
Yuudai scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Yuudai fails with a takedown attempt.
Yuudai lands an overhand right.
Yuudai misses with a looping right.
El Senor Sox is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Sox doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Yuudai looks to land a combination but Sox avoids it well.
Sox shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Yuudai eats them both and turns towards Sox to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

It looks like Takeshi Yuudai has been cut.

Sox ducks under a wild hook from Yuudai.
Yuudai connects with a good right hand that stumbles Sox. Sox circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Sox lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Sox lands a nice looking body shot.
The crowd cheers as Sox lands an impressive looking overhand right. Yuudai doesn't seem phased though.
Yuudai shoots in looking for a takedown. Sox tries to sprawl out of it but Yuudai keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Sox manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Yuudai fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
El Senor Sox has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Takeshi Yuudai.
Sox ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Yuudai has Sox up against the cage in a clinch.
Sox digs a right hand underneath Yuudai's ribcage. Yuudai let out a lung full of air as it connected.

Yuudai doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Sox lands a nice shot to the body.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Sox.
Sox wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Sox misses with a punch on the inside.
Sox lands a right hand.
A short left from Sox.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Sox.
Sox cracks Yuudai with a nice body shot.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Sox.
Yuudai misses with a punch on the inside.

Still in the clinch, Sox scores with a nice short uppercut.

Yuudai is rocked!
Sox throws a head punch that misses.

Yuudai breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Sox lands a big uppercut and Yuudai crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Yuudai looks OK. Sox waves Yuudai back to his feet!
Yuudai is still on wobbly legs! Can Sox finish him?

Sox throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Yuudai shoots in but Sox avoids the takedown attempt easily.
and Sox counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Yuudai! He's just covering up as Sox starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!

El Senor Sox really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that XTREME PWNAGE: Down Under! $20 logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
