The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brown throws a series of punches but Lombard moves out of range.
Brown throws a right and a left that both miss.
Lombard takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Brown connects with a body shot that sends Lombard's belly button to the back.
Lombard wants to slow Brown down by chopping away at his legs.
Brown swings for the body but Lombard moves out of range.
Brown lands a really nice looking cross but Lombard seems unphased.

Lombard takes one to the side of the head.
Lombard scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Brown wants to get back to full guard.
Lombard is looking to take a break and control but Brown is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Lombard is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Brown is just riding it out for now. Lombard eventually gives up the hold.

Lombard wants to free his trapped foot but Brown is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Brown is looking to control Lombard's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Brown avoid being mounted?
