PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Anvil CorpseGrinder (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ken Shamrock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). CorpseGrinder comes into the arena with raining blood by SLAYER blaring out of the sound system. Shamrock has chosen Mortal Kombat theme song as his entrance music. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Anvil CorpseGrinder!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ken Shamrock!
The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Paul Aken and Saam Ante.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
CorpseGrinder scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Shamrock steps to the side to avoid the strikes from CorpseGrinder.
Shamrock moves away from the strike by CorpseGrinder.
Shamrock shoots in but no luck this time.

Shamrock fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. CorpseGrinder sprawls well initially but Shamrock persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Shamrock looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Shamrock prevents CorpseGrinder from standing back up.
CorpseGrinder is trying to get back to full guard.

Shamrock is working for a submission of some sort.
Shamrock passes to full mount!

Shamrock working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.
CorpseGrinder on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if CorpseGrinder tries to get out of the position.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Shamrock is working for a guillotine from mount but CorpseGrinder frees his head quite easily.

Shamrock is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. CorpseGrinder can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Shamrock wants to finish this one by submission but CorpseGrinder is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Shamrock.
CorpseGrinder trying desperately to get to his feet.
Shamrock can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as CorpseGrinder is looking to escape.

Shamrock has control of CorpseGrinder's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and CorpseGrinder regains control of the situation pretty easily.
CorpseGrinder throwing punches from his back but nothing is landing.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

CorpseGrinder is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Shamrock locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! CorpseGrinder is forced to tap!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Ken Shamrock!
Ken Shamrock seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
