Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Denis Andreas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sunny Day (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Andreas's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Dragging Dead Bodies in Blue Bags Up Really Long Hills. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Denis Andreas! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Sunny Day! The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, John Mangel and Winston Howard.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Day shoots for a double leg takedown but Andreas sprawls well. He's pushed Day's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Day fails with a takedown attempt. Day avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Andreas tries to close the distance and clinch up but Day swats him away and circles back towards the center. Andreas stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Andreas wants it to stay on the feet. Denis Andreas has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sunny Day. Andreas is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Day closes the distance and pushes Andreas back into the cage. Andreas looking to stall.

Day wants to take the fight to the mat but Andreas manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. Day blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Andreas with an attempt at a knee that misses.

Day's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Day managing to block the knees to the body from Andreas.
Day tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Day is trying to maintain a safe position but Andreas gets an underhook and turns Day into the cage. Andreas tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Day avoids it. Day jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Andreas walks away with a smile on his face. Day gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Day shoots in and drives through. Andreas sprawls well. Denis Andreas is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Andreas rushes Day and presses him up against the cage. Andreas tries to land a knee to the head but misses.

Day fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Andreas, pushing him back against the cage. Andreas tries to land a knee to the head but Day blocks with his arms.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Day pulls guard. Andreas wanted to stand there but Day had control of the position. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Day looking to hit a scissor sweep but Andreas is one step ahead there. Andreas has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Day to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Andreas is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Day pulls down on the head and he's put Andreas to sleep! This one is all over!
