Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ben Dillon! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ryu Takeshi! The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Ren Mimura and Tatsuya Matsuyama.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Takeshi tries to clinch up. Dillon swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Takeshi counters with a flying knee. Nice. Dillon misses with a few strikes there.
A combination from Dillon does no damage. Dillon scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
It looks like Ryu Takeshi has been cut. Dillon throws a right and a left that Takeshi avoids nicely. Dillon throws a right and a left that both miss. Dillon throws a combination that misses and Takeshi counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Dillon is lucky that one didn't land flush. Dillon will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Dillon misses with a double jab
and Takeshi counters with a head kick that drops Dillon to the mat! Dillon scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!
Dillon is rocked! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Dillon misses with a jab, cross combination.
Dillon throws a series of punches but Takeshi avoids them all with ease. Takeshi circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Dillon drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Takeshi follows Dillon to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ryu Takeshi!
