The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Regan wants to clinch but Balweg slips to the side
and Balweg counters with an outside leg kick.
Regan thows a body shot but no joy.
Balweg misses with a looping left.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Balweg looks for the body kick but Regan saw that one coming.
Balweg scores with a head kick.
It looks like Jimmy Regan has been cut.
Balweg jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Balweg keeps the fight on the outside.
Regan closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the ropes.
Regan misses with a knee strike.
Regan throws a knee to the head but misses.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Regan obliges.

Balweg can't break the clinch.
With the fighters up against the ropes, Balweg throws an elbow but misses.
Balweg has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

It looks like Leon Balweg has been cut.
