The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chernov avoids the body shot from Parkachev.
Parkachev misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Chernov.
Parkachev throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Chernov shoots in but Parkachev avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Parkachev misses with a two punch combination.
Chernov scores a takedown into full mount!
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Chernov cracks Parkachev with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Parkachev is wriggling around trying to escape.
Chernov is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Parkachev can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Chernov blocks Parkachev's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom.
Parkachev wants to control but Chernov is having none of it.

Parkachev is trying to escape the mount.
Parkachev tries to lock up and control but Chernov gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Chernov lands a heavy elbow.
Chernov postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Parkachev looks a forlorn figure.
