Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between John Keynes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Snake The Pendulum (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Keynes comes to the cage accompanied by Concerto for Four Violins in B minor. The Pendulum has chosen Good Luck as his entrance music. John Keynes has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
25 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, John Keynes! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
23 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Snake The Pendulum! The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Frank Antenori and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Keynes throws a poor cross that misses
and The Pendulum cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Keynes connects with a nice looking jab.
Keynes throws a body kick that misses. Keynes misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from The Pendulum.
John Keynes seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Keynes takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Keynes keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
The Pendulum lands a really nice looking cross but Keynes seems unphased.
Keynes is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by The Pendulum. Keynes throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land. Keynes fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt The Pendulum. The Pendulum connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. The Pendulum gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Keynes to score an easy takedown into full guard. This has been an exciting period of action! Keynes controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
That's one minute gone in the round. Keynes throws a big elbow that misses. Keynes with a flurry of punches that miss. Keynes lands a couple of decent looking shots. The Pendulum looking for a sweep. Not yet The Pendulum, not yet. The Pendulum keeping moving, preventing Keynes from controlling successfully. Keynes avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Keynes wants to pass the guard but The Pendulum is keeping the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Keynes working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. The Pendulum has momentary wrist control but Keynes slips an elbow through the middle. Keynes works a leg free and moves into half guard. Keynes seems to be looking for submissions.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! The Pendulum tries to roll over but Keynes keeps him under control. The Pendulum is looking to control Keynes's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can The Pendulum avoid being mounted?
That's three minutes gone in the round. Keynes lands with a punch from half guard. Keynes throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Keynes lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. The Pendulum wants to improve his position but Keynes is controlling well.
The Pendulum moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Keynes postures up in The Pendulum's guard and throws a big left but The Pendulum blocks it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The Pendulum is trying to control the position from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Keynes missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Keynes might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. The Pendulum looking to control.
Keynes stands up over The Pendulum, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. The Pendulum utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! The Pendulum keeping moving, preventing Keynes from controlling successfully. Keynes pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. The Pendulum is keeping the position for now. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Keynes looking to sit in guard and control but The Pendulum gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's one minute gone in the round. A head punch blocked on the inside by The Pendulum. Keynes tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. The Pendulum is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Keynes misses with a short punch on the inside. The Pendulum misses with a body punch.
The Pendulum is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage. Keynes lands a body shot in the clinch.

The Pendulum has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Keynes. The Pendulum cracks Keynes with a right hand to the side of the head. The Pendulum goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Keynes shoots in and gets a takedown into The Pendulum's guard. Keynes throwing strikes but missing. The Pendulum working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Keynes.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The Pendulum looking for a sweep. Not yet The Pendulum, not yet. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Keynes has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. The Pendulum can't keep his opponent in guard - Keynes advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Keynes working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. The Pendulum is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Keynes scores with a couple of nice shots. The Pendulum regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Keynes. John Keynes overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Keynes lands a couple of digs.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The Pendulum is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Keynes has his hands clasped together but The Pendulum extends an breaks Keynes's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by The Pendulum.
