The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ishtar stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Ishtar wants it to stay on the feet. Bill Trigg seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Trigg shoots in but no luck this time. Trigg gets caught napping as Ishtar dives in and scores a takedown. Trigg manages to retain guard. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Trigg is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Ishtar has his hands clasped together but Trigg extends an breaks Ishtar's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Trigg.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Bill Trigg!
