Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bruno Falcone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Monty Schill (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Falcone comes to the cage accompanied by BLACK HAWK DOWN. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
15 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Bruno Falcone! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Monty Schill! The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Mauricio Rocha and Luis Engracia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Schill tries to bum rush Falcone with a series of wild strikes but Falcone uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Schill shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Falcone looking to hit a scissor sweep but Schill is one step ahead there. Schill is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Schill must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Falcone trying to keep a closed guard but Schill is proving a slippery customer.
Schill trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Schill looking to sit in guard and control but Falcone gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Schill is controlling Falcone's posture. Falcone tries to free his leg and advance position but Schill is retaining full guard. Falcone sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Schill's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Falcone missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Schill tries to get to full guard but Falcone has control of the leg. Falcone is working away from the top position though. Schill is looking for a sweep. Falcone is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Schill is trying to maintain the position but Falcone is very close to passing his half guard. Falcone has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Schill is holding on to half guard well. Schill really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Falcone. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Falcone is keen to just control but Schill is a slippery customer. Schill tries to get to full guard but Falcone has control of the leg. Falcone trying to control from half guard but Schill is working away.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Falcone looking to score a takedown here. Schill is defending well but Falcone drives through and ends up in Schill's guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Schill wants to sweep here but Falcone controlling him for the moment. Falcone trying to control the position from guard on top but Schill is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Falcone postures up.
Schill keeping moving, preventing Falcone from controlling successfully. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Schill has control of Falcone's left arm, preventing Falcone from doing any damage.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Falcone displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Schill. Schill gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Falcone to score an easy takedown into full guard. Schill is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Falcone passes easily into side control. Nice work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Schill is not content to let Falcone control the position. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Schill can do anything to dispel that myth. Falcone in side control lands a decent elbow. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The ground and pound from Falcone seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent. Falcone wants to lay and pray for a moment but Schill keeps working. Schill is looking for a sweep. Schill defending against the ground and pound. Schill is looking to reverse the position. Schill wants to control but Falcone postures up. Falcone is looking to take a break and control but Schill is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. You can see the frustration on Schill's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Falcone fails to land a wild elbow strike.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Schill can't do much from the bottom here. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Schill tries to buck Falcone off but Falcone is having none of it. Schill is trying to control Falcone's posture but Falcone avoids it. Falcone tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. You can see the frustration on Schill's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Schill is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Falcone off and has taken his back! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Schill really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for Falcone. Schill avoiding Falcone 's attempts to control his hands. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Bruno Falcone will probably get the nod. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Schill bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Schill trying to control the position but Falcone is working away. Schill slows the pace down. Schill wants to lay and pray for a moment but Falcone keeps working. Schill tries for a kimura but Falcone is defending well. Falcone tries to improve position but can't. The referee tells the fighters to keep busy. Falcone is not content to let Schill control the position. Schill misses with an attempted head punch from side control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Falcone is looking for a sweep. Schill is looking to take a break and control but Falcone is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Schill landing with strikes to the head and body from side control. Falcone dodges the ground and pound from Schill. Falcone dodges the ground and pound from Schill. Schill scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Falcone to see if he's OK. Falcone struggling a bit here. Schill sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Falcone is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Falcone is not content to let Schill control the position. Schill working the head and body with strikes. Falcone can't do much from the bottom here. Schill taking a breather here. Schill working away. Schill working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
Falcone tries to buck Schill off but Schill is having none of it. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Schill landing with strikes to the head and body from side control. Schill is trying to get an arm triangle but Falcone is defending well. Schill tries to score with some ground and pound. Falcone controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Falcone taking a bit of punishment here - Schill scoring with strikes. Monty Schill has got the better of the ground game so far. Schill slows the pace down. Falcone tries to improve position but can't. Schill looks up at the clock and then as Falcone takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Schill smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
You can see the frustration on Falcone's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Schill is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position. Schill's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Schill wants to lay and pray for a moment but Falcone keeps working.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Falcone is trying to improve his position. Falcone regains half guard, as Schill was trying to land strikes. Schill is controlling the pace.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Monty Schill wasn't active enough on the ground. Schill shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Falcone as he avoids it easily. Bruno Falcone seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Schill looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Falcone! Schill misses with a head shot. Falcone keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Schill enables Falcone to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Schill manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Schill had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Falcone defends it easily. Schill is pulling down on Falcone's head. It's preventing any offense from Falcone, at least for the moment. Falcone working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Falcone prevents Schill from getting back to his feet. Falcone preventing the sweep. Schill is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Schill is on top in guard.

Falcone is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Schill is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Bruno Falcone. Falcone takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Schill gets caught flat footed, as Falcone shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Schill pulls Falcone in close to prevent any damage. Falcone postures up.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Falcone takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. Schill pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Schill with shots to the head and body - Falcone looks very uncomfortable down there. Schill looking to finish Falcone with some ground and pound. This is bad for Falcone! Falcone is bucking up trying to escape but Schill cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Falcone is rocked! This has been an exciting period of action! Falcone is looking to improve his position but Schill isn't that keen on the idea. Oh Falcone is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Schill cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Schill controlling the pace for now. Schill lands a big shot there that rocks Falcone but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Schill tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Schill has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Falcone's face.
Schill lands with some strikes. Falcone tries to hold on but Schill postures up. Schill postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Falcone badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Schill around the waist but Schill pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Schill is the winner by TKO! Schill jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:45 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Monty Schill!
