Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Gabriel Mannstrom (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Guile Roswell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mannstrom comes to the ring accompanied by No One Is Safe: Family First. Roswell has chosen Poupine et Thierry as his entrance music. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Gabriel Mannstrom! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Guile Roswell! The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Ben Zyskovitsi and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Roswell lands with a slapping head kick. Roswell chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Mannstrom can pounce on him.
Mannstrom will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Mannstrom shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Roswell napping and manages to drive through into side control! Roswell is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the ropes but Mannstrom has just dragged him back down to the mat. Roswell parries the strikes from Mannstrom easily there. Mannstrom is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Roswell to escape.
The ground and pound from Mannstrom seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent. Roswell manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Mannstrom seems to be looking for submissions.
Roswell tries to get to full guard but Mannstrom has control of the leg. Roswell is defending against the submission attempts here by Mannstrom.

That's one minute gone in the round. Mannstrom thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Roswell's head. Roswell is controlling Mannstrom's trapped leg to prevent Mannstrom from advancing to side control. Mannstrom is looking for a kimura but Roswell is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Mannstrom to get the leverage. Mannstrom works his way into side control. Mannstrom working away. Roswell is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Mannstrom's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Roswell makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Roswell.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mannstrom looking to pass the guard. Roswell has his hands on Mannstrom's head, controlling the position. Mannstrom wants to stand but Roswell has a closed guard, so he can't escape. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Roswell has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Mannstrom can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Mannstrom wants to stand but Roswell has a closed guard, so he can't escape. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Roswell has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Mannstrom doesn't defend quickly enough and Roswell has managed to lock this one up! Can Mannstrom escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Roswell on a fantastic submission victory.
