Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Shawn Chen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hitokage Hakaisha (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
17 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Shawn Chen! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Hitokage Hakaisha! The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Tarja Halkonen and Arvi Lind.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Chen misses with a few strikes there.
Hakaisha will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Hakaisha has his takedown stuffed and Chen counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Chen misses with a two punch combination.
Hakaisha doesn't succeed with the takedown and Chen counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Shawn Chen has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hitokage Hakaisha. Chen takes a swing at Hakaisha's ribcage but misses. Hakaisha checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. Shawn Chen is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hakaisha fails with the takedown and Chen connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Hitokage Hakaisha seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Jab from Chen. Chen dips to his left and cracks Hakaisha with an uppercut! Hakaisha fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Chen stuns Hakaisha with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hakaisha fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Chen misses with a hook to the body
and Hakaisha counters with a takedown into side control. Hakaisha is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Chen is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Chen stops Hakaisha from passing to mount. Hakaisha looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Chen is avoiding damage well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Chen dodges the ground and pound from Hakaisha. Chen avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Hakaisha. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Hakaisha is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Chen is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Chen knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Hakaisha on the ground. Hakaisha scoring with punches from side control. Hakaisha has knee on belly and moves into mount. Hakaisha wants to control the pace but Chen is squirming around nicely.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Chen tries to get back to half guard but can't. Hakaisha pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Hakaisha is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Chen can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Hakaisha lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Hakaisha landing shots from mount. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Hitokage Hakaisha dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!
A swing and a miss from Hakaisha. Hakaisha shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Hakaisha shoots in but Chen avoids the takedown attempt easily. Hakaisha shoots in for a takedown but Chen shows good takedown defense. Chen lands a nice shot that snaps Hakaisha's head back.
Hakaisha on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Hakaisha looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hakaisha thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Chen's head. Chen preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head. Hakaisha is looking to advance position but Chen won't allow it. Hitokage Hakaisha has got the better of the ground game so far. Hakaisha is keen to just control but Chen is a slippery customer.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hakaisha prevents Chen from improving his position. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Hakaisha lands strikes from half guard. Hakaisha has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Chen tries to roll over but Hakaisha keeps him under control. Hakaisha is pressing down on Chen's thigh, looking to free his foot. Chen is holding on for now. Chen keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hakaisha is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! Hakaisha trying to control but he's not successful this time. Hakaisha working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Chen turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Hakaisha off and cradles Chen's limp body as Hakaisha celebrates with his corner.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:41 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Anaconda Choke). Hitokage Hakaisha!
