Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Marcus Watson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Guile Roswell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Roswell has chosen Poupine et Thierry as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Marcus Watson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Guile Roswell!
The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Roosa Järviläinen and Arvi Lind.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Roswell drives through with a takedown into guard.

Watson escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Roswell gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Roswell throws a big right hand that misses.
Watson keeping full guard, as Roswell tries to pass.
Roswell trying to control but Watson is working from the bottom.
Watson tries to strike from the bottom.

Watson looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Watson is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Roswell dives into side control.

Roswell thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Roswell is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Watson's shoulder. That is not cool.
I wouldn't like to be where Watson is right now.
Watson is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

Roswell fails to land a wild elbow strike.

Roswell is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Watson is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Watson is looking for a sweep.
Watson manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Roswell moves into full mount! Watson won't be happy about that!

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Roswell misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Watson wants to hold on but Roswell pushes him away.
Roswell wants to control the pace but Watson is squirming around nicely.
Roswell avoids the attempt from Watson to control.
Roswell with some aggressive grappling here, looking for the finish.
Watson tries to control Roswell's body but Roswell pushes him off. Watson squirms to his side and now Roswell has his back!

Roswell is cranking Watson's head sideways - that looks painful. He's managed to get his other arm under the chin and this looks bad for Watson! He's tightened the choke and Watson is tapping out!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:26 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Guile Roswell!
During a confident post fight interview, Guile Roswell thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
