Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Shigeki Fujiwara and Yukihiro Yamamoto.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Hiramatsu.
Wor Petchpun connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Wor Petchpun fails in his attempt to clinch.
Wor Petchpun feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Hiramatsus jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Hiramatsu has a takedown stuffed.
Hiramatsu moves in looking to clinch but Wor Petchpun pushes him off.
The fight stays on the outside here - Hiramatsu looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Wor Petchpun thuds his right hand into Hiramatsu's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Wor Petchpun jabs Hiramatsu right on the nose. Hiramatsu blinks but takes it well.
Hiramatsu takes a body punch but keeps moving.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Wor Petchpun lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Hiramatsu shoots in and gets a takedown into Wor Petchpun's guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Hiramatsu postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Orono Wor Petchpun hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Wor Petchpun closes the distance and clinches up with Hiramatsu, looking for a takedown. Wor Petchpun pushes Hiramatsu against the cage but Hiramatsu circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Hiramatsu tries for a takedown but Wor Petchpun sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

and Hiramatsu counters by clinching up.
Hiramatsu has clasped his hands together around Wor Petchpun's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Hiramatsu wants to take a breather but Wor Petchpun manages to regain guard - a lesson learnt for Hiramatsu.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Hiramatsu takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Hiramatsu doesn't manage to clinch there - Wor Petchpun circles away.

Wor Petchpun fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Hiramatsu has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Hiramatsu shoots in looking for a takedown but Wor Petchpun manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Hiramatsu's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Hiramatsu is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.

Hiramatsu will be looking to protect his midsection after taking some solid kicks to the body.

Hiramatsu is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Wor Petchpun looks calm but he's in trouble here. Hiramatsu gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Wor Petchpun is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Hiramatsu lets go of the hold and Wor Petchpun can pop his arm back in it's socket.
