Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Clark Kent (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paz Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kent comes to the cage accompanied by Superman Theme Song. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Gwen Towbar and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kent lands with a shot to the body.
Silva looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Kent lands a head shot.
It looks like Paz Silva has been cut.
Kent lands a glancing blow to the side of Silva's head.
Silva throws the left hand but Kent avoids the punch easily.
Kent connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Kent scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Silva swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Silva lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
It looks like Clark Kent has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Kent shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Kent passes the guard and advances to mount!
Kent working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Silva turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Kent off and cradles Silva's limp body as Kent celebrates with his corner.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Anaconda Choke). Clark Kent!
