Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pete Bowman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Benedict Cruz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bowman kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Dark Tranquillity - Misery's Crown. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bowman takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Bowman throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Bowman misses with a hook. Cruz ducked under it nicely.

Bowman doesn't manage to clinch there - Cruz circles away.

Bowman uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Cruz.
Bowman lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Some bone on bone action there as Bowman checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

That was a close round but I would say that Pete Bowman will probably get the nod.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Cruz gets caught by a brutal right hook which buckles his knees! Cruz tries to backpedal with his spaghettilegs but Bowman is headhunting and goes for the kill. A jab and a right hook connect and Cruz buckles badly as his eyes roll back. The referee steps in and saves Cruz!! Cruz is complaining but he was clearly out on his feet. Bowman throws his mouthpiece into the crowd. Mmmm spit-tastic.
