Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Mike Cope (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sven S Svensson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cope comes to the cage accompanied by I Against I. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cope throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Svensson on the side of the head.

Cope postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Svensson is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Cope, into his guard.

Good leg kick by Cope there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Cope turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Sven S Svensson has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Cope drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Svensson manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Cope has Svensson in his guard.
Cope has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Svensson is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Cope.
