Coming up we have a super heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Borgrimdur Skalldurson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shia Locke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Skalldurson comes to the cage accompanied by Krummavísur. Borgrimdur Skalldurson could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Shia Locke's chin.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Borgrimdur Skalldurson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Shia Locke!
The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Marco Blurström and Ben Zyskovitsi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Locke lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Locke throws a sloppy body shot
and Skalldurson cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
It looks like Shia Locke has been cut.
Locke connects with a single shot there.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Skalldurson throws a body punch but Locke moves out of range.
Locke punishes Skalldurson's body with a nice straight punch.
Locke throws a sloppy head kick
and Skalldurson counters with a big head kick but Locke shrugs it off.
Locke blocks a low kick nicely.
Locke closes the distance and scores with a big combo that sends Skalldurson crashing to the mat! Skalldurson uses the cage to get back to his feet and beat the count. The referee looks concerned but he's going to allow it to continue!
Skalldurson is rocked!
Locke pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Locke tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Skalldurson counters with a straight right hand.
Locke dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Skalldurson. That did some damage!
A head kick misses from Locke.
Locke with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Skalldurson to score with a decent uppercut.

Locke lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Oh Skalldurson is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Skalldurson misses with an attempted mid kick.
Locke tests Skalldurson's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Locke moves out of range of the strikes.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Locke tries to bum rush Skalldurson with a series of wild strikes but Skalldurson uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Locke misses with a head kick.
Locke uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Skalldurson.
Locke cracks Skalldurson with a perfect right hand that drops him to the mat! Skalldurson is sitting up but I can't see if he's OK from my position. The referee's count has reached 5,6,7 and Skalldurson is still not up. Can he make it? 8,9,10! He's out! Skalldurson could not beat the count!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:16 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch). Shia Locke!
After winning the bout, Shia Locke thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
