Jones comes to the cage accompanied by Who Dat by Young Jeezy. Morris is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Let The Bodies Hit The Floor. 19 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jack Morris! The judges for this bout are Josh West, Ryoma Takatsuka and Chris Saunders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Morris slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Morris misses with a kick to the body.
Morris throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Jones moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Jones throws a sloppy head kick and Morris moves out of range easily. Morris throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Morris misses with a head kick.
Jones lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Morris takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. A looping hook to the body misses from Morris. Jones does a little dance to reset his feet. Jones throws a low kick, looking for Morris's leg but Morris calmly moves out of range. Morris checks a leg kick. Morris staying out of range there. An inside leg kick lands from Jones. Morris throws a nice outside leg kick. Morris misses the shot to the body. Good exchange - Morris coming out on top.

and Jones counters with a nice uppercut. Morris lands a slapping body shot.
Morris keeps the fight on the outside. Morris is looking to score with low kicks. Morris tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Jones manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Morris swinging wildly here.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! No joy there for Morris, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

A looping hook to the body misses from Morris. Jones does a little dance to reset his feet. Morris gets caught napping as Jones dives in and scores a takedown. Morris manages to retain guard. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Morris throws his legs up looking for a submission but Jones uses it to pass to side control.
Jones is staying tight to Morris's torso, preventing him from escaping. Morris is trying to improve his position. Jones throwing shots but missing, from side control. Jones tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Morris gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there! Jones looking to control and managing it successfully.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Morris is looking to improve his position but Jones isn't that keen on the idea. Morris is squirming around, avoiding Jones's attempts to control the action. Jones is really struggling to control Morris but he's trying to hold on to the position. Morris tries to lock up and control but Jones gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Morris is looking to improve his position but Jones isn't that keen on the idea. Morris is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Jones gets his hands free as Morris looks to control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jones thuds a left hand into Morris's body. Morris is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Jones rather than just go for the knockout. Morris throws a sloppy head kick and Jones makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Morris takes a shot right to the bread basket. Jones works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Morris needs to keep his hands up - Jones had a free shot at his head there. Morris misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Jones connects with a body shot. Morris fails with an attempt to clinch.

Morris is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Jones steps in with a hook that catches Morris right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Jones follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Morris looks absolutely devastated.
